Glen is a Principal
at Driven Forward LLC, a firm that supports entrepreneurs and
venture investors by providing strategic guidance, interim
executive leadership services, and executive coaching. In
addition he is a Chair for Vistage International where he serves
as a professional facilitator for CEO advisory boards.
Mr. Hellman is
frequently quoted on corporate governance and entrepreneurship
issues in print and broadcast media. In print he’s been quoted
in the Wall Street Journal, Financial Week, The Washington Post
and USA Today. He has been featured on radio programs including
NPR Marketplace and Voice of America. Television appearances
include NBC and FOX news.
In his over-30-year
career he has been the President and COO of Proxy Governance, a
corporate governance watchdog; CEO of Intellipark, a
manufacturer of next-generation parking meters; and CEO of
Ikimbo, a developer of network communications software.
He is currently
Chairman of the Board of Driven Forward and on the Board of
Advisors for the University of Maryland, RH Smith School’s,
Dingman Center for Entrepreneurship. He is an active member of
the Capital Access Network (CAN) where he is responsible for
deal flow, deal selection and coaching corporate executives
seeking capital and in his spare time he writes for Tech
Cocktail.

Neil
Selvin

Neil has more than
25 years of experience running high technology businesses, most
recently as president of Inlet Technologies, a leading
manufacturer of products that stream live video over the
Internet. He is also an Entrepreneur-in-Residence at the Dingman
Center for Entrepreneurship at the University of Maryland’s
Smith Business School. There, he teaches MBA students and
coaches local entrepreneurs on business strategy and
fundraising.
During his
two-decade tenure in Silicon Valley, Mr. Selvin was president
and chief executive officer of several public and private
companies, including Pivia, OneWorld Systems and Global Village
Communication. At Global Village, he led an explosive corporate
growth, including a successful IPO in 1994. He has also raised
over $60 million in capital and given over 500 presentations to
investors.
Prior to becoming a
successful entrepreneur, Neil was director of marketing for
portable computing for Apple Computer, where he launched the
original PowerBook. Mr. Selvin holds B.A. and M.S. degrees in
physics from Pomona College and Brown University and an MBA from
Harvard Business School.
